My name is Alex. I am eleven years old. I am a student at Sunshine School. My school is big and beautiful. It is near my house. There are many classrooms, a library, and a playground.

Today, my friend Mia visits my school. She is new to our city. I am happy to show her around.

"This is my classroom," I say. "It is bright and clean. There are twenty desks and twenty chairs. There is a big whiteboard on the wall."

Mia points to a blue bag. "Is that your bag?" she asks.

"No, it isn't mine. It is Ben's bag. His bag is blue, but my bag is green," I answer.

Our teacher, Mrs. Green, comes into the classroom. She smiles at us. "Are you ready for the lesson?" she asks.

"Yes, we are!" we answer together.

During the lesson, Mrs. Green gives us some books. My book is red, and Mia's book is yellow. I help her with a question. She thanks me.

At lunchtime, we visit the cafeteria. There are many students there. They are hungry and excited. My friend Tom sees us and waves.

"Hello, Alex! Who is your new friend?" he asks.

"This is Mia. She is my friend," I say. "Please come and sit with us!"

After lunch, we play in the playground. There are three trees and many flowers. The playground is wonderful.

Mia smiles and says, "Your school is amazing!"

We are happy because today is a special day.
