Emphasizes how long a continuous action WILL HAVE BEEN GOING ON at a future deadline.

Forming Future Perfect Continuous Sentences

  • Positive Form: Subject + will have been + V-ing → By 2030, I will have been teaching for 20 years.
  • Negative Form: Subject + won't have been + V-ing → She won't have been driving for long by the time we arrive.
  • Question Form: Will + Subject + have been V-ing? → How long will you have been studying by 10 PM?
  • Combination of Markers: Requires BOTH "By + future time" AND "For + duration"!
