Add ONLY an apostrophe (') after plural nouns ending in -s.

Possessive Noun Rules Matrix

  • Singular Nouns: Add 's → the boy's hat, Mary's house, my doctor's office
  • Regular Plural Nouns (-s): Add ONLY ' → the boys' hat (hat belonging to boys), my parents' room
